Amazon Mechanical Turk

I recently signed up through amazon for their mechanical turk jobs.. the process takes about 48hrs to get signed up and approved. The site can be overwhelming at first, but basically you are there to do mindless jobs that computers are unable to do. I have found that sticking with surveys at first is easy and a safe bet. The payouts can be discouraging because there are jobs from .01 to over 10 dollars but it takes a little work to qualify for the higher paying ones. You basically start out at the bottom and work your way up. After you complete a couple hundred hits it gets better. The jobs are quick between 5 and 10 minutes a piece so it is easy to bang out a few while watching tv. I have been working this site for 6 weeks and I have made around 450 dollars so not bad and I have completed about 800 hits. I recommend searching for survey jobs greater then 25 cents and narrowing it down. Some surveys take way to long for the payment and eventually you will become familiar with what jobs to avoid. Payments get transfered into an amazon payment account and from there you can use that money to spend on amazon or get your funds transfered into your bank account. Not a bad way to get a few extra bucks here and there in your spare time. After you become familiar with site it won't seem so over whelming and it will be easy to log on bang out a few hits and get n with your day :)

So has anyone heard of smiley 360? I am just starting to check it out but it seems interesting. This is not a site to make money on this is a site for trying new products and getting coupons etc. Pretty easy to sign up for and the site is quite easy to navigate through. You collect points towards these badges and these badges help you qualify for different missions. So far I have had 2 missions the first one was from sleep number technology and all I had to do was visit a sleep number store check out a bed and write a review about it. Pretty simple. For my small efforts I get a 89.99 sleep number pillow.. seems worth the very small amount of time it took me . My other mission was from bing. Again pretty easy and I won a bunch of bing rewards!! I suppose I won't be getting rich off this site but who doesn't like free stuff??? My husband thinks I am insane but free is free right?? I love getting packages in the mail.. it's like Christmas in march :) so overall probably worth your time because the invites get emailed to you and it takes like 5 minutes of your life to see if you qualify for the mission!

Etsy

Has anyone had success with etsy? I am not an expert crafter by any means but my husband and I get creative from time to time and I just wondered if there was any money to be made here.. it seems like there are alot of etsy crafters making the same things so I assume it is quite competitive . So if anyone had an opinion I would love to hear it. I have been researching  all the ways to make money at home and I am trying to not exclude anything .

Mommy on a mission!


So as a new blogger I have been trying to think of why I would even want to blog. My life is boring. I am a mother of 3 year old twins and a 5 year old i go to work I take care of my kids I somehow manage to have conversations with my husband and I go to bed and repeat.. not a glamorous life... but perhaps the norm.. I work 36hrs as a nurse and also a part time online job filling out surveys and doing misc. Things.. but I am bored. . If you can believe that I have time to be bored... so I decided to write.. I am no author of novels or interesting articles I am just a mommy who is bored and I think I can relate to the majority of mommas out there... 


So how did I become bored? Well I have always been a busy person.. I thrive on being busy. I have always worked multiple jobs I have 8 years of college under my belt. When I am not working towards something I get bored.. my babies aren't babies anymore so they don't need me as much and that makes me bored. I can't really get a part time job that requires me to leave the house because I refuse to put my kids in day care. So what can I possibly do to make.money from home?


I started out simple signing up for survey sites some worth it some not.. my personal favorite  is mint vine 

 But I have had success with opinion outpost  and brand research. But this doesn't generate real money just a few extra bucks here and there. I have filled out surveys for free products and free magazines which are nice but don't pay my bills!! I am in search of a way to make money and enjoy what I am doing.so here I am a momma on a quest for financial freedom!!
